Our Programme Explained

Day 1 and Day 2 – Training for the Level 3 Award Education and training: Our industry expert, who is a full member of society of Education and Training (MSET) will take you through all the theory assignments and practical elements, you will be given time to prepare the assignments and practical assessments ready for your final assessment.
During the two days we will guide you through all the elements of being an excellent competent teacher as well as lesson planning, schemes of works, using teaching methods, engaging learners, and delivering a session.
Day 5 – Food Safety module (Morning): Our expert with over 30 years delivering Food Safety and as a role of a lead Food Safety Consultant, holding Graduate Level with IOSH, will take you through all the Food Safety qualifications and paperwork required. On conclusion you will be confident and competent to be able to deliver all PTDQ Food Safety qualifications.
Day 5 – Assessments (Afternoon): Our Expert assessors will put you at ease and guide you through the assessment and assist you in being certificated as competent trainer.

Learners on completion of this training will be able to run all PTDQ suite of Food Safety Qualifications for the Workplace, these include:
- Principles of Food Safety and Hygiene for Employees in Catering
- Principles of Food Safety and Hygiene for Employees in Retail
- Principles of Food Safety and Hygiene for Employees in Manufacturing
Learners will receive a full licence to teach and assess PTDQ Food Safety qualifications for the workplace.
Course Days – 1, 2, 5 (3 Days)
Minimum Prerequisite:
- Hold experience in Food Safety and Hygiene or a recognised qualification.
- 19 Years of age or over as qualifications requirements for teaching
- Ideally have some experience of Food Safety and Hygiene in the workplace.
