On conclusion of this programme, learners will come away with a Ofqual Accredited Level 3 Education and training Award and be able to train and assess learners in the following:
- PTDQ First Aid Trainer Qualification
- PTDQ Health and Safety Trainer (includes Fire Safety, Manual Handling)
- PTDQ Food Safety Training

Our Programme Explained
“Our Training Programme is Regulated, Externally by PTDQ and Ofqual Level 3 Award in Education and Training, the full package!”
Day 1 and Day 2 – Training for the Level 3 Award Education and training: Our industry expert, who is a full member of society of Education and Training (MSET) will take you through all the theory assignments and practical elements, you will be given time to prepare the assignments and practical assessments ready for your final assessment.
During the two days we will guide you through all the elements of being an excellent competent teacher as well as lesson planning, schemes of works, using teaching methods, engaging learners, and delivering a session.
Day 3 – First Aid trainers Module: Our expert with over 30 years delivering first aid training and as a role of a lead first aider, will take you through all the first aid qualifications and paperwork required. On conclusion you will be confident and competent to be able to deliver all PTDQ first aid qualifications.
Day 4 – Health and Safety module: Our expert with over 30 years delivering Health & Safety and as a role of a lead Health & Safety Consultant, holding Graduate Level with IOSH, will take you through all the Health & Safety qualifications and paperwork required. On conclusion you will be confident and competent to be able to deliver all PTDQ Health & Safety qualifications, including Manual handling and Fire Safety.
Day 5 – Food Safety module (Morning): Our expert with over 30 years delivering Food Safety and as a role of a lead Food Safety Consultant, holding Graduate Level with IOSH, will take you through all the Food Safety qualifications and paperwork required. On conclusion you will be confident and competent to be able to deliver all PTDQ Food Safety qualifications.
Day 5 – Assessments (Afternoon): Our Expert assessors will put you at ease and guide you through the assessment and assist you in being certificated as competent trainer.

First Aid Trainer for the Workplace Specification
Learners on completion of this training will be able to run the following courses:
- PTDQ Emergency First Aid at Work
- PTDQ First Aid at Work
- PTDQ Paediatric First Aid
- PTDQ AED
Learners will receive a full licence to teach and assess PTDQ first aid qualifications for the workplace.
Course Days – 1, 2, 3, 5 (4 Days)
Minimum Prerequisite:
- Hold a recognised current First Aid at Work (FAW) or exemption acceptable to HSE.
- 19 Years of age or over as qualifications requirements for teaching
- Ideally have some experience of first aid in the workplace.
Health & Safety Trainer

Learners on completion of this training will be able to run all PTDQ suite of Health & Safety Qualifications for the Workplace, these include:
- PTDQ Health and Safety for Employees
- PTDQ Principles of Manual handling of Loads
- PTDQ Principles of Fire Safety in the Workplace
- PTDQ Competent Fire Marshal in eth Workplace
Course Days – 1, 2, 4, 5 (4 Days)
Minimum Prerequisite:
- Hold experince and or Health and Safety i.e. PTDQ Health and Safety fro Employees.
- 19 Years of age or over as qualifications requirements for teaching
- Ideally have some experience of Health & Safety in the workplace.
Food Safety Trainer

We have over 150 trainers that rate the Workplace Trainer as very good or outstanding.
We have just over 25 employees, we are a small manufacturing company and find training costs for our staff essential however very expensive and training not that good. One of my employees attended PTDQ Workplace Trainers Course, the results were outstanding.
